Red Hawk Casino secures $77M loan

SHINGLE SPRINGS, California -- As reported by the Sacramento Business Journal: "Despite tight financial markets, the Shingle Springs Tribal Gaming Authority closed Tuesday on a $77 million loan from a group of lenders led by Bank of America.

"The tribal authority for the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok will use the credit to buy furniture, fixtures and equipment for the Red Hawk Casino, which is under construction in Shingle Springs.

"Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Tuesday signed a bill allowing Red Hawk Casino to operate up to 5,000 slot machines..."
