"The soccer hero went on the betting spree after flying home from scoring twice for England in the World Cup qualifier in Belarus.
"Rooney, 23, jetted back with his team-mates after the 3-1 win and went straight to the members-only club in Manchester to play blackjack and roulette at £500 a go.
