O.J. Simpson arrived this morning at the Regional Justice Center in downtown Las Vegas nearly a year after he walked into a casino hotel room intent on reclaiming some sports memorabilia.
Lawyers in his robbery-kidnapping trial are set to begin picking a jury.
What figures to be a lengthy jury selection is scheduled to start this morning for the fallen NFL star and actor, and his remaining co-defendant, Clarence "C.J" Stewart, a 54-year-old golfing buddy from North Las Vegas.
Both men have pleaded not guilty to 12 charges stemming from a heated encounter last September with two sports collectibles dealers peddling Simpson memorabilia at a Las Vegas hotel-casino.
Simpson arrived at the Regional Justice Center in a black SUV at 7:31 a.m. near the Casino Center Boulevard and Lewis Avenue entrance.Stewart arrived earlier in the morning, at 7:19 a.m. Neither spoke as they entered the building.
