BRISBANE, Australia -- As reported by the Brisbane Times: "A suburban hotel will be investigated by the state's gaming authorities for offering free gambling money with meals sold in its bistro.
"The Royal Hotel at Beeneligh, south of Brisbane, has been accused of encouraging problem gambling with its 'Casino Cash Lunch' promotion, which offered diners $3 in free 'casino cash' to use in its gaming room.
"...Hotel managment refused to comment when contacted by the brisbanetimes.com.au yesterday, however, it is understood the promotion has since been suspended indefinitely at the orders of operator Australian Leisure and Hospitality Group chief Bruce Mathieson..."
