Arkansas boot casino measure from ballot

5 October 2012

ARKANSAS -- Arkansas has removed a casino amendment question from this November's ballot, The City Wire reported.

The issue was decided by the Arkansas Supreme Court who cited that a change to the title of the ballot after collecting signatures was not permitted, the report explained.

The ballot title was changed by Nancy Todd, who led the ballot question initiative, because of questions raised by the Attorney General and Secretary of State that indicated it was insufficent, The City Wire reported.
