ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Atlantic City casinos have finally had a month where they saw a revenue increase this year, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
Revenue figures showed a 13 percent increase over August 2011 figures, the report said.
Two factors that likely helped the increase were the presence of the recently opened Revel and the lack of a hurricane which hit the city during late August 2011 and closed casinos, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
