ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Hurricane Sandy may have ravaged the Eastern seaboard but Atlantic City casinos appear to have had luck on their side, the Press of Atlantic City reported.

The casinos did not sustain major damage and are anticipating reopening as soon as word is given, the report said.

A reopening date has not yet been indicated, the Press of Atlantic City said.
