Atlantic City: Harrah's to build $134 million conference center

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Harrah's is planning a $134 million convention centre, the Press of Atlantic City reported.

The plan, which is only at a proposal stage and would need to secure approval, is for a center that would focus on business conferences, the report said.

If approved, the Harrah's convention center would see 340 construction jobs and up to 140 new permanent positions once built, according to the Press of Atlantic City report.
