B.C. casino meeting expected to be a long one

SURREY, British Columbia -- Surrey Council will hold a meeting Monday night to address a casino proposal, according to CKNW.

It is expected many people will wish to contribute to the meeting and the Mayor is bracing herself for a long meeting into the wee hours, the report explained.

The proposed casino is for a $100 million property near 10th and 168th Street in Surrey, B.C. and the Mayor has yet to take a position on the casino, CKNW reported.
