LONDON, England -- A sports rehabilitation clinic that works with addicted gamblers says football players take loans to fund gambling addiction, the BBC reported.
The Sporting Chance clinic said the players are taking out payday loans, the report explained.
The clinic described how it was impossible to test for gambling addiction and that it doesn't show obvious physical signs the way that alcohol addiction does, adding to the challenge of diagnosis and treatment, the BBC report said.
