Card Player Poker Tour to make first stop at Hollywood Park Casino in October

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Card Player Poker Tour is pleased to announce an all-new stop for Season II. The tour will hit Hollywood Park Casino in Inglewood, California for the first time ever, hosting a seven-tournament series October 17-26.

The highlight of the series will be the $340 no-limit hold’em $100,000 guarantee main event set to being October 23. Other tournaments throughout the series include six $150 no-limit hold’em tournaments with guarantees ranging from $10,000 to $15,000.

The main event winner will become the 10th champion of Season II and will join Harvey Vandeven (bestbet Jacksonville - $76,598), John McNulty (Palm Beach Kennel Club - $68,191), Ronnie Pease (Foxwoods - $91,346), Erkut Yilmaz (Atlantis Reno - $42,665), Patrick Clarke (Irish Open - $276,380), Sean Winter (bestbet Jacksonville - $84,000) and Austin Lewis (Choctaw - $183,025) on the list of CPPT winners.

Card Player Poker Tour Upcoming Stops

Before stopping at Hollywood Park, the tour will host events at the Bicycle Casino in Southern California and will set sail on a seven-night Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Allure of the Seas.

About the Card Player Poker Tour

The Card Player Poker Tour is a series of live poker tournaments customized for each casino's needs started in August 2012 by Card Player Media, publishers of the preeminent poker magazine Card Player, and poker web portal CardPlayer.com.

While some tours cater only to super high-rollers, certain geographical areas or local grinders, the CPPT has something for every player. With main event buy-ins ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 at properties across the nation from the northeast to the southwest there are options for recreational players to high-stakes grinders and everyone in between.
