Churchill Downs launches new online betting site

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky -- An interstate law that permits horse race gambling has also allowed Churchill Downs to launch their new Luckity.com betting site, the Courier-Journal reported.

Luckity employs horse racing along with lucky numbers type betting in their games, the report explained.

Luckity is aimed at gamblers who have merely a casual or little interest in horse racing and it hopes to generate more prize pools and increased purses for horse racing, the Courier-Journal reported.
