Connecticut issues license for online betting on horse racing

CONNECTICUT -- A license has been granted to Sportech Venues, Inc to provide online betting for Connecticut residents on horse racing, The Courant reported.

Sportech Venues already operate 15 off-track locations, this license is an extension of that business, the report explained.

Currently the state of Connecticut lawmakers are debating online gambling, according to The Courant report.
