Crown Resorts revenue impacted by high roller tax

AUSTRALIA -- Crown Resorts has seen a fall in revenue which is being attributed to new tax rules, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

The new high rollers tax limits the amount casinos can spend to attract high rollers, the report explained.

High rollers are enticed by rebates, under the new rules Crown is progressively taxed making it harder to spend money marketing to high rollers, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.
