Developer wants quick passage for Taiwan gaming bill

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Taiwan is facing calls to speed up the necessary gaming legislation for developers to establish casinos in the country, Central News Agency reported.

One such developer, Weidner Resorts Taiwan, hopes to begin building a casino on Matsu, the report said.

Weidner has said if the necessary gaming bill's passage is not speedy it could be forced to consider other options in Asia, Central News Agency reported.
