Edmonton man wins $15 million

EDMONTON, Alberta -- James Whittaker had a ritual, he bought a weekly lottery ticket with his Slurpee, according to Global News.

Whittaker hit the jackpot last Wednesday and won more than $15 million, the report said.

Whittaker said he had faced unemployment challenges and is now delighted to be able to assist his autistic nephew financially, Global News reported.
