Ellis Park stake sale approved

LEXINGTON, Kentucky -- Saratoga Casino will soon own a partial stake in Ellis Park, the Courier-Journal reported.

The deal for Saratoga to purchase a 30 percent stake was approved by the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission yesterday, the report said.

This deal could see Saratoga ultimately purchasing a higher stake or even owning the track eventually, the Courier-Journal said.
