MASHANTUCKET, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino today reported that slot revenues for the month of February 2013 totaled $38.5 million, a decline of 24 percent from the same period in 2012. Handle for the month was $462.7 million, off 23 percent from February 2012. The Casino contributed $9.8 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund based on its February revenue. The cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut since Foxwoods opened in 1992 rose to $3.46 billion.

The Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center continues its engaging exhibit of Native dolls that includes video of local Native doll makers and hands-on activities. Today and tomorrow, visitors can enjoy Natasha Smoke Santiago and her dance troupe performing authentic Iroquoian song, dance, and story at 11 am. On the afternoon of Saturday March 23, seven prominent Native New England women leaders will discuss their pivotal community leadership roles over wine, cheese and chocolates.
