Foxwoods reports September slot revenue
15 October 2012MASHANTUCKET, Connecticut -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Foxwoods Resort Casino today reported that its September slot revenue totaled $46.3 million on handle of $546.6 million. Though down 13 percent and 12.9 percent respectively from the same month last year, the Casino continues to attract average monthly slot revenues in the $50 million range.
Foxwoods contributed $11.8 million to the Connecticut Special Revenue Fund in September 2012, bringing the cumulative contribution to the state of Connecticut since the Resort Casino opened in 1992 to $3.41 billion.
Over the next month, laughter is the buzzword at Foxwoods as Tracy Morgan, Howie Mandel and Kathy Griffin bring their unique brands of comedy to the Resort. The popular Last Comix Standing series goes two new rounds and a special Hypnotic Hysteria Halloween is sure keep visitors and goblins chuckling.
Extraordinary Eats, the month long culinary series, continues. The Pequot Museum, chosen by Connecticut Magazine as the state’s best culture museum, is getting ready for the stunning exhibit Neetôpáwees: Dolls as Ambassadors of Native Culture, which previews on October 24.
