Hungary to ban slot machines

HUNGARY -- Hungary is introducing a new law that will see slot machines banned outside casinos, the BBC reported.

The new regulation will not permit slots in coffee shops and bars, the report said.

The government proposes to recoup the lost tax revenue with a new tax on online gaming, the BBC noted.
