“The partnership with the I.FLY Trapeze School has been a great success. It been a wonderful attraction for our guests, and it has generated an incredible buzz for the Taj brand,” said Trump Entertainment Resorts Senior Vice President of Marketing, Kathleen McSweeney. “The momentum is so strong right now, and the demand for lessons continues to grow, so we are very pleased to have been able to extend I.FLY’s stay with us.”
When asked about the program, I.FLY Instructor Marco Rosamilia said, “It’s been a great partnership with the Taj and the gratitude and compliments from participants of all ages just keep on coming. The 20- to 30-something crowd loves to have something fun and different to do in AC. Parents also like that they can participate simultaneously with their children. It’s not only a hit with guests travelling from afar, but with locals as well.”
I.FLY Trapeze School is a recreational Flying Trapeze and Aerial Arts program open to the public. I.FLY instructors come from a variety of circus disciplines and have been trained specifically to teach people to fly whether beginner or advanced. They also have hospitality and entertainment backgrounds that aren’t only comfortably inviting, but create a fun-filled atmosphere. Children can start flying at age 4 and adults should never stop flying at any age.
The classes are 60-90 minutes long and are priced at $65. First-time flyers will learn the timing and technique for a Knee Hang (getting your legs over the bar so that you can release your hands). They’ll also learn a back-flip dismount. The second part of the class allows students the opportunity to swing at the same time as an I.FLY instructor on an opposing trapeze, meet in the middle, and catch wrist to wrist.
