Indiana Downs requests smoking-ban exemption

EVANSVILLE, Indiana -- Indiana Downs want an exemption from the new smoking ban, the Evansville Courier-Press reported.

The city passed the indoor smoking an on Feb 13, 2012, the report said.

The bill was approved with a vote of 7-2 and will take effect on April 1, 2012, the Evansville Courier-Press said.
