(PRESS RELEASE) -- Intertops Casino Classic is offering $140,000 in "reward" money to players solving the mysterious murder of Lola Loot, a (fictitious) regular at the online casino's roulette table.
Earning points just by playing casino games, players are advancing through six stations and collecting clues along the way to help them solve the crime. Every week until Nov. 11, players will be drawn from each of the six stations to receive a share of $30,000 in weekly prizes. A total of $140,000 in casino bonuses will be awarded.
Found dead on the floor near the roulette table, Lola's huge winnings are missing. The police are everywhere and the casino is buzzing. Using clues collected as they advance through six stations, players are invited to guess if the murderer is Security Guard Brad, Waitress Chloe, Croupier Max or Handyman Pete.
Each Monday, players will be drawn from each of the six stations to receive a bonus up to $500. The more stations they move through, the bigger the prizes. Those that make it to the final station have the chance to win one of three $1,000 "Private Eye" grand cash prizes. Additional grand prizes can be won at the other stations.
Based on the clues they're given, players can attempt to solve the mystery by guessing the murderer at any time. Those that correctly identify the murderer with their last guess will qualify first for the final grand prizes.
In addition to the station prize draws each Monday, 50 "Alibi Prizes" of up to $150 will be awarded to players each Thursday that have played in the casino Monday to Wednesday that week.
