IP Casino Resort and Spa recognizes outstanding employees for December and Q4 2015
8 February 2016(PRESS RELEASE) -- IP Casino Resort and Spa recognized outstanding team members for their service, dedication and work ethic, awarding several the honor of Team Member of the Month and Team Leader of the Quarter, at ceremonies held on Jan. 21
December's recipients included Front of the House honoree Maria Moreno (Housekeeping and Back of the House honoree Johnny Seymour (Facilities), as well as Part-Time Team Member of the Quarter honoree Rhonda Wentzell (Banquets) and Team Leader of the Quarter honoree Jim Rudd (Security).
"We're so proud of our team members and the fantastic service they provide," said Duncan McKenzie, Vice President and General Manager of IP Casino Resort and Spa. "We thank them for their hard work and dedication to Boyd Style."
Each month, an IP selection committee names two exceptional team members as the Team Members of the Month. All recipients are honored at an awards ceremony and receive cash and prizes including a day off with pay, an IP dining gift certificate, show tickets, VIP parking and a jacket. Individuals selected as Team Member of the Month attend an end-of-the-year banquet with Boyd Gaming Executive Chairman Bill Boyd and earn the chance to be named the property's Team Member of the Year, a title that includes an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Hawaii.
Team members nominated in December include; Front of the House- Ashley Huckabay (Security), Devon Kovac (Spa), and Regina Teer (Cage). Back of the House nominees are; Dana Page (Accounting), and Lynn Nguyen (Bakery). Part-time team members that were nominated are Patrick Meharg (Security) and Tammy Pham (Beverage). December's Team Leaders that were nominate include; Kelly Alexander (Human Resources) and Travis Videkovich (Slots).
