Japan: Illegal baseball game betting case grows

WAKAYAMA, Japan -- Two arrested illegal baseball gambling suspects may face further charges over another baseball gambling case, according to The Mainichi Daily News.

The two suspects Seiji Morita, 57, and Seiji Sakamoto, 40, may have accepted bets on Japanese baseball games, among other charges, between July and Sept.

The two, one of whom is the younger brother of a well known Japanese singer denied the charges when previously arrested in October.
