Land acquired by SJM for casino in Cotai

MACAO -- SJM has agreed a deal with the Macau government for land to build its Cotai casino on, Bloomberg reported.

SJM Holdings will shell out $269 million on which a casino and 2,000 room hotel will be built, the report said.

SJM is the fifth company approved this year to build casinos on the Cotai strip, Bloomberg reported.
