Mass. governor, Wampanoags reach agreement on compact deal

The Boston Globe reports that Governor Deval Patrick expects to sign within days an agreement on a revised casino compact with the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe.

The governor said that the renegotiated compact had already been vetted by federal officials and that he would soon be briefing legislative leaders on it, the Globe report states.
