MiniFTOPS reignites this Sunday at Full Tilt

4 September 2014

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Full Tilt Poker players are gearing up for a fortnight of big tournament action, with over $1,400,000 in cash to be won with the return of MiniFTOPS this weekend.

Starting Sunday, September 7th, MiniFTOPS XXVI echoes the events of FTOPS XXVI but with one crucial difference – buy-ins are approximately one-tenth of the cost.

Kicking off the Series with all guns blazing, the $22 buy-in Event #1 starts at 13:30 ET and has at least $75,000 up for grabs. At 16:30 ET, the first Day 1 of Event #2, the $5.50 buy-in Multi-Day Tournament, will begin. Players who survive a Day 1 will go on to compete for a share of $200,000 guaranteed in Day 2 the following week.

For one player, this series will mark the start of something spectacular. The person who tops the MiniFTOPS XXVI Leaderboard will get a four-month Black Card Pro sponsorship contract, which includes 100% cashback on their play.

“Tournament series are great and all, and winning a bunch of money for a small buy-in is cool, but I think we all know the real reason to play MiniFTOPS is to win the little silver football player avatar,” says Shyam Markus, Poker Room Manager, not at all joking. “He’s really cute.”
