Mississippi House Gaming Committee to study online gaming

2 July 2014

MISSISSIPPI -- The Mississippi State House Gaming Committee commissioned a study of online gaming to investigate its impact in states where it has been legalized, according to a Clarion-Ledger report.

The research will be conducted by an eight member panel, led by the Mississippi Gaming Commission's executive director, the report said.

The inquiry comes following Rep. Bobby Moak, D-Bogue Chitto attempt to introduce online gaming legislation for the past three years, the Clarion-Ledger reported.
