Mohegan Sun workforce reduced by 1000 since 2009

CONNECTICUT -- The Mohegan Sun have cut 1,000 jobs since 2009, The Courant reported.

The news came as the company disclosed fifty percent decline in their third quarter profit, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Mohegan Sun, strongly affected by the economic recession, is currently trying to refinance 2012 debt, the Hartford Courant reported.
