New Jersey waits to see if Christie will sign online gambling bill

2 January 2013

NEW JERSEY -- Gov. Christie is being urged to sign the bill that passed December 17, 2012 to permit online gambling at Atlantic City Casinos, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The bill received strong support from both sides in the Senate and House, the report explained.

The bill would permit online gambling on slots using servers based at Atlantic City casinos and there's an increased sense of urgency for Christie's support post Hurricane Sandy, The Philadelphia Inquirer report said.
