New push for casino gambling in Texas

HOUSTON, Texas -- Texans may be getting fed up of having to travel to gamble, according to Fox 26.

Houston State Senator Rodney Ellis thinks Texans should have the right to decide on gambling on their home turf, the report said.

Ellis is pushing for legislation that would see the ban on gaming overturned and see Texas retain some of the dollars that are spent elsewhere, Fox 26 reported.
