Northern Marianas: Gaming commission stops sale of casino

NORTHERN MARIANA ISLANDS -- The Tinian Gaming Commission has ceased an application by a company to operate the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino, according to a Radio New Zealand report.

The Gaming Commission said the company had not made the application correctly, the report said.

The company Mega Stars Overseas Limited intends to pursue its application and noted that it has spent $40 million on the project so far, Radio New Zealand reported.
