Odawa Indians plan $26 million casino

MACKINAW CITY, Michigan -- A Michigan tribe is aiming to build a new $26 million casino in Mackinaw City, according to Indian Country Today.

The Little Traverse Bay Band of Odawa Indians, who already operate the Odawa Casino Resort, hope the second casino site will offer 500 slots and a restaurant of some description, the report explained.

The casino project would create 80 full-time jobs and 100 construction jobs, the Indian Country Today report said.
