UK -- The British government is to implement a 15% tax on offshore online gambling companies, according to a Sky News report.
The tax is intended to balance out the taxes that betting companies based in England must pay, the report explain.
The new tax will be implemented from December 2014 and will be based on where the customer placing the bet lives not the location of the company taking the bet, Sky News reported.
