Opponents fail to block Madera casino

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- A federal judge refused to issue a temporary injunction blocking a proposed Madera County casino, according to Fresno Bee reports.

The North Fork Rancheria of Mono Indians proposed casino is being opposed by a group called Stand Up for California!, the report explained.

The casino is planned on a 305 acre site, on the North West outskirts of the city, according to the Fresno Bee report.
