Pai Gow progressive pays $134,599 at Prairie Meadows

ALTOONA, Iowa -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- On Wednesday evening, September 26 at Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino, Urvin Desai hit the Progressive Jackpot in Pai Gow, giving him a total of $134,599.

Thereafter, the secondary jackpot was started at $33,105.35.

Upcoming events at Prairie Meadows include the Heartland Poker Tour, October 12-22, which has attracted 2004 WSOP Champion Greg Raymer (“Fossilman”) and ESPN World Series of Poker commentator Lon McEachern. The Tour’s Main Event on Monday, October 22, will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.

Prairie Meadows has given more than $1 billion through taxes, grants and charitable donations to the state of Iowa. More than $500 million of that figure has remained in the community to promote economic development, agriculture, jobs and tourism.
