Don Rickles is one of America’s most famous funnymen. For over 50 years, he has appeared in the top showrooms in Atlantic City and Las Vegas as well as in concert halls throughout the world and is regarded as one of the world’s top entertainers. In recent years, Rickles has received a number of notable accolades. Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project, a documentary about and starring Rickles, directed by John Landis, won two Emmys, one for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special and the other for “Individual Performance.” In the spring of 2012 at the Comedy Awards in New York City, Rickles became the second recipient of the prestigious “Johnny Carson Award for Comedic Excellence.”
Reynolds, a stage and screen actress, recording star and dancer, begins her 63rd year in show business. She combined all those talents in her first leading role with Gene Kelly in the Hollywood classic Singin’ in the Rain in 1952. At Pala, her show will encompass music and comedy impressions and will include classic pop hits, country and show tunes. “As long as the audience is laughing and having a good time, I keep going,” she said.
Arrival from Sweden was founded in 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden, by Vicky Zettenburg and includes members of ABBA’s original touring band. The group has toured in 35 countries and enjoyed sold-out shows worldwide.
