Pala Casino crowns champion of Quantum Reload Tournament

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Chip leader David Fernandez, a poker player from San Diego, California, won $2,000 and the championship of the Quantum Reload poker tournament after agreeing to a four-way chop on Sunday, 8 October at Pala Casino Spa and Resort.

Michael Carr of Westminster, California, finished second and won $1,219, as did third-place finisher Wilson Barrett of Corona, California. Jerry Holland of Escondido, California, finished fourth and won $1,070. Holland was a double qualifier for Day 2 and won an additional $450, while the six other qualifiers for Day 2 earned $150 each.

A total of 54 players vied for the $7,740 prize pool, and five cashed.

The five winners included:
1. David Fernandez, San Diego, California, $2,000.
2. Michael Carr, Westminster, California, $1,219.
3. Wilson Barrett, Corona, California, $1,219.
4. Jerry Holland, Escondido, California, $1,070.
5. Andrea Amick, Temecula, California, $500.
