PALA, California -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Southern California poker players can win more cash in October at Pala Casino Resort and Spa when the Poker Room brings back its popular “Chase for the Dough” promotion and sponsors a Columbus Day tournament at 10 a.m., Oct. 8, with a $65+$15+$5 buy-in and a $5,000 guarantee and a River Card Quest for the Cup Hallo-Weekend tournament, Oct. 25-28, with a $30,000 estimated guarantee.

The Hallo-Weekend tournament will have three starting rounds at 6 p.m., Oct. 25-26 and Noon, Oct. 27. The buy-ins will be $125+$25+$10 with late re-entries and six blind levels. The first three days will be played until the 12th round ends or five percent of the field remains. Final day action will begin at Noon, Oct. 28, on level 13. Satellite tournaments will be played Oct. 20-26 and will award one seat each into the Hallo-Weekend tournament. For dates and times of the satellites, players should download the tournament schedule at www.palacasino.com.

A Hallo-Weekend Monster Game X-2 also will be played at 7 p.m., Oct. 27. A No Limit Hold’em game will be $5/$10 with a $500 minimum no-cap, a mandatory Mississippi Straddle and an $8 time collection. A $15/$30 Limit Hold’em Monster Game also will be played with a $150 buy-in and a $5 drop. Players are asked to call the poker room at 760-510-2235 for a seat reservation.

The Chase for the Dough will start at Midnight, Oct. 1, with a $10,000 prize fund. Players an earn cash rebates for live play hours until Midnight Oct. 31. Forty hours earns $60; 60 hours, $200 and 80 hours, $400. The rebates are payable at any time after the tiers are met. When players cash out, hours return to zero.

Pala Poker’s popular Flush Marathon promotion will return from Noon to Midnight each Wednesday, except Oct. 31, and a $500 All-In or Fold’em Free Roll will continue at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 30. The first player who hits all four flushes in the Flush Marathon will win $350 and the second will win $150. If no one hits, the prizes will roll over to the following Wednesday. Vouchers will be distributed during live play for the All-In or Fold’em Free Roll minimum of two live hours per week.

Each Monday during Monday Night Football, the poker room will splash one random table after each score the by the visiting or home team. A field goal will splash $25, a touchdown, $50 and a safety, $100. The Daily Tournament Payout Change will add $100 per table to the tournament prize pool on selected daily morning tournaments and from Noon to 8 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday, the high hand of the hour will receive $200 and second highest, $50.
