Palm Beach County voters approve slot machines

The South Florida Business Journal reports that according to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections, about 56 percent of Palm Beach County voters supported a measure to bring slot machines to county parimutuels, which is a victory for the Palm Beach Kennel Club Poker Room, the only parimutuel in the county.

The Florida Legislature still must approve the slots in the county before any machines can be installed, the South Florida Business Journal states.
