The Columbus Dispatch reports that the Ohio Casino Control Commission approved the casino’s October 8 Columbus Day opening yesterday by granting an operating license to Central Ohio Gaming Ventures, the Penn National Gaming, Inc. entity that will run the $400 million facility.
The 475,000-square-foot facility, featuring a decorative scheme evocative of old-time Hollywood movies and actors, will have 3,014 slot machines, 78 table games, a 30-table poker room and four restaurants, the Columbus Dispatch report states.
