LONDON, England -- The Professional Footballers' Association has thrown its support behind its chief executive Gordon Taylor in response to his personal difficulties, The Guardian reported.
Taylor has been subjected to allegations in the media of a massive gambling debt, the report said.
Taylor has served the union since 1981 and has always been vocal about the potential problems of gambling amongst players, The Guardian report said.
