Politicians want casino closures delayed

23 July 2014

ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey -- Atlantic City politicians have asked that two planned casino closures be delayed, according to the Press of Atlantic City.

The politicians requested this by letter to the Casino Control Commission, the report said.

They want the extension so buyers for the properties might be sought and also to help workers who will lose their jobs, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
