Revel owners file for bankruptcy

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports today that Revel AC Inc., the company that owns the financially troubled Revel Casino Resort in Atlantic City, announced Tuesday night that it had reached an agreement on a prepackaged Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.

According to the Inquirer, it is Revel's intention to complete financial restructuring by early summer, with no adverse effects on the casino's guests, employees or vendors.
