NEW JERSEY -- Shares rose in Atlantic City casinos following this week's news of the legalization of online gambling in the state, Reuters reported.
Caesars Entertainment saw shares rise 6 percent before settling down to a 2 percent rise, the report said.
Boyd Gaming shares rose 4 percent, the Reuters report said.
Analysts estimated the impact of the new legislation on the companies revenue may not be evident for 18- 24 months, the report made note.
