Singapore: 74 arrested for illegal soccer betting

SINGAPORE -- A swoop on illegal gambling in Asia has netted 300 arrests and $780,000, Today Online reported.

The operation involved 200 raids carried out in various countries including China, Hong Kong, Macao, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam, the report said.

In Singapore 74 people were arrested by local police in an illegal gambling raid, according to Today Online.
