St. Louis councilman wants to strike smoking ban exemptions

14 January 2013

ST LOUIS, Missouri -- St Louis County may be heading towards a rethink its smoking ban, according to a report in the St. Louis Dispatch-Post.

The rethink applies to businesses that were given an exemption under the present ban, the report said.

Casino gambling floors qualify for an exemption under the current law, however councilman Mike O'Mara wants to strike all such exemptions from the law, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
