DUNDALK, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Tom Brady from Northern Ireland has won the 2012 renewal of the Boylepoker International Poker Open in Dublin.
The Plymouth, England resident started the day as chip leader and 7/2 favorite to take the title and despite losing the chip lead heads up at one point to the start-of-day short stack Darren Millar, he rebounded in the 30-minute heads-up duel and eventually covered Millar when all the chips went in with A-9 against A-6.
Brady’s hand held strong and his consistent play paid off to the tune of €42,530 and the prestigious title in one of Europe’s largest tournaments.

The €230 buy in International Poker Open attracted 1,148 players to the Regency Hotel, Dublin, Ireland, creating a prize pool of €229,600.
The event took place from October 19 to 20 when the internationally diverse field was whittled down to the final table of eight. The eight players returned to Dublin for the final table, which was streamed live at the Boylepoker.com blog.
