Typhoon survivor wins charity sweepstakes jackpot

Manila, Philippines -- A Typhoon survivor saw her luck change in a most timely manner, according to a Gulf News report.

The woman and her family were staying in an evacuation centre when she won the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes, the report said.

The woman will now be able to leave the evacuation centre and buy a house, the Gulf News report said.
